About Robin Schaefer
Robin Schaefer was born in Denver, Colorado. She completed her BA in Fine Art with an emphasis on painting from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Upon completing apprenticeships with artists in London and New York City, Schaefer settled back in Denver for several years maintaining a studio practice and showing with Plus gallery, one of Denver's top contemporary art galleries. In 2012 Schaefer relocated to the Washington, DC area and received her MFA from George Washington University. She is currently a resident artist with Red Dirt Studios in Mt Rainier, MD.
